Well, I had a setback today that prevented me from attending the funeral. Fortunately, I know of at least one other AFF-er that's going to be there for sure.

Dagwood is there now. Says the minister is reading posts from AFF with everyone's appreciation for her and is also reading the poem.

I'm sure it was a lovely service.
Wish we all could have been there.
Still does not seem like she is gone.

Re: Arrangements for Cindy Nash
I got to the cemetery about 15 mins prior to start, signed in, and saw Cindy. She looked good, at peace.
Her pastor opened and introduced the grandchildren, who sang "Amazing Grace". In the middle of it, one grandchild began crying hysterically. That's all it took for me to begin sniffling and crying. Another grandchild sang "How Great Thou Art" afterward.
Following the grandchildren singing, a few AFF tributes were read, including the poem "Good Grief".
Mr. Nash and their son, Perry, spoke afterward.
I would say there was around 75 people in all, possibly more. It was warm and humid, but nevertheless a beautiful memorial for a sweet-spirited lady of God I never got to meet in person. I spoke briefly with Mr. Nash and Perry after the memorial was dismissed, then drove home. I didn't see DA, or anyone that looked like him. OTF text me that he couldn't make it.
Now, we AFF-ers carry on Cindy's legacy from here...

Re: Arrangements for Cindy Nash
I believe Cindy's youngest daughter April Nash sung "How Great Thou Art". I'm happy you were able to attend the service Dagwood !
