America fell for the rhetoric the first time. This time Obama has a track record to answer for.
Its gonna be an old fashioned butt kicking by Romney/Ryan.

Wow! Talk about sour grapes. So now you are so sour about the Romney / Ryan ticket drawing crowds that you are going to accuse them of luring the crowds by giving things away?
I really think you are so invested emotionally that you are not thinking fairly anymore.
It is one thing to disagree with the guy but to just make goofy accusations like this is just classless. It is the kind of thing that Democrats do. Lets see, somebody gave away sandwiches in April so that must mean they did that to get a crowd now? Good grief!
I have read reports that people stood in line for hours to see Romney and Ryan at these events and I doubt they did it for a sandwich.

They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

So long as it is your candidate it's okay to commit a felony. I get it. Your candidate doesn't have to follow the law, it's for OTHER people.

Re: Romney VP Pick Today 9AM
PO you're just irrational. I don't know about the sandwiches. First I've heard of it. If there was an egregious violation of the law, don't you think Team Obama would be all over that? Makes me wonder just how substantive this is.
What's perplexing is the poison you have for Romney while we have a president that is truly dangerous to America. While you obsess over Romney, Obama is on course to fundamentally change our American way of life.
Your like a teacher at Columbine obsessing over a kid who is talking in class while Eric and Dylan are walking the halls shooting up the place.

The Dems did file a complaint, (the event was not closed to uninvited members of the public) they were cleared because the DA, who is Republican, said that his evidence showed they had sandwiches left over and therefore, they couldn't have been bribing anyone. LOL!
Again, I think we need to understand that a Progressive Republican is just as bad as a Marxist Democrat.
I like Paul Ryan, but just like you and everyone else, I was not aware and a bit surprised that his voting record doesn't indicate he is the Conservative we thought he was. So my view of him is that he is a sincere man, but not challenging to the status quo. He may may turn out to be another Nikki Haley, just another politician.
Unlike you and others, I am not a Pollyanna. I am looking at the details and reality on both sides, whether Romney wins or loses. Obama and this election totally opened my eyes to the corruption on both sides. I will continue to point those things out.
You can go ahead and try to manipulate us into thinking that Romney will be great (I am not voting for Paul Ryan for President), and that there is nothing to be concerned about. Just know this, there are those of us who will be holding his feet to the fire. We won't be giving him some more Rhino rope to hang us with.

Re: Romney VP Pick Today 9AM
DB,
This is a precursor of things coming out about Ryan. From 2009 -
Quote:
In Madison, Wis., GOP Rep. Paul Ryan -- hyped as a conservative "rock star" -- was well received. But I heard from staunch fiscal-conservative constituents who refused to be silent about Ryan's complicity. He gave one of the most hysterical speeches in the rush to pass TARP last fall; voted for the auto bailout; and voted with the Barney Frank-Nancy Pelosi AIG bonus-bashing stampede. Milwaukee blogger Nick Schweitzer wrote: "He ought to be apologizing for his previous votes, not pretending he was being responsible the entire time, but I don't see one bit of regret for what he did previously. And I'll be ****** if I'm going to let him get away with it."

There are also more than two Tea Party factions that will be showing up at Convention. And another group, besides the Ron Paul supporters have formed a group called Dump ROMinee ( http://www.buzzfeed.com/rosiegray/co...omney-campaign)
They have all said that the Ryan VP pick makes no difference to them. The point is, Romney really ticked people off during the primaries and we are not forgetting or forgiving.

Your post here reflects my thoughts exactly. PO is willing to waste so much energy hating Romney that she completely misses the point that Romney at his worst is so many times better than Obama at his best.
It makes absolutely no sense to what she is doing. If this were just a normal election year with a decent economy and a Nation not heading full tilt towards Socialism it might be ok to have a little hissy fit and not support the guy you don't like. However that is not the case.
More than probably any modern election the results of this election will set America on one of two very different paths. Not only our economic path but our judicial one as probably 2 new Supreme Court justices will be appointed during the next 4 years along with a lot of Federal judges. All appointed for life.
I give up on PO and just hope there are not many conservatives as irrational as she is about this election because if there is there won't be a conservative elected for a very long time and Liberal Democrats will have free reign to accelerate the destruction of our country as we know it.
