I'm not angry, I'm annoyed. You are extremely annoying. First time you heard that, huh? (I would guess not)

You are constantly in "Rush Limbaugh" mode. Constantly seeking out "liberal conspiracies" no matter the thread. You personally call me a "lefty" every time we interact, and insist on that label even despite me correcting you each time. You must think yourself to be quite funny. You ask me if I'm "involved" in a secret agenda. You throw out blanket statements like they are going out of business. Blowing hot air that smells like a bunch of poopoo... and quite annoying. Pardon me for waving the smell out of here.

Your anecdotes are poor (pun intended) and textbook. Grace has nothing to do with your view of people, let alone the poor. You are a black-robed Pharisee to me. The poor are an evil group that are full of laziness and would rather buy watermelon and tennies, and live off the "Gubment" (very racist btw). You sound quite ignorant for a man who so often professes to be so learned.

Does that help you understand a bit?

There's many on AFF that don't see eye-to-eye with each other. Many on here that I don't. We still manage to have pretty decent conversation. You are oblivious to conversation. Maybe you just are socially awkward all-together, but at least someone is explaining why that agitates people.

Re: The poor in America

That was probably a little harsh, but your cynical and jaded attitude toward those whom Christ loves, and toward those whom God cares deeply about to where there are over 300 verses dedicated to is serious business to me. Entire nations have been condemned by such attitudes.

But mostly, your uncanny ability to turn everything into a right-wing political talk show is really not enjoyable.

And if we aren't sure who is "really poor" -- may we ask the same question that was posed to Jesus: "Rabbi, who is my neighbor?"

Here is what get's me. Conservative Christians will talk about how God is going to judge this nation for abortion or gays or a number of other conservative issues. But when it comes right down to it, they don't ever say God is going to judge this nation for not helping the poor... and if I'm not mistaken God did quite a bit of judging on both nations and people for not helping the poor.

Saw one an hour ago. Poor person driving a Social Security paid scooter. This person was over 400 pounds. Obviously not starving. Tomorrow I will see many homeless people. It they smoke, It seems they can always buy a pack for 5- 10 dollars.

And a 400lb woman is being helped by your graciousness how? Just "choosing" not to eat Ho-Ho's anymore? Is that your whole solution for these people? Her issue is just her weight, huh?

As far as addictions, what do you know about them? An addiction is a sickness.

Why do you insist on mocking the poor, finding anecdotal answers of people's whose lives you know nothing about? May God have mercy on you...

Nah its because they are trapped by addictions and when peole give them money, they flow to the gas station or convenience store. Their food is often provided by shelters so they don't use that to buy food. These people don't just need handouts, they need love and compassion and to hear the gospel over and over again until something clicks.. would;nt you say?

I really want to get reinvolved with the local homeless ministry.. there is something special about it.
