What is the point? You don't think someone can really be happy in a UPC or not be treated bad like you did?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

No. That's not what I said. I completely believe you. But I believe those JW testimonies too.

I still don't see the point in posting it though.

I pray and sometimes pray in tongues and I listen to what God has to say.
Why can you not stand preaching? Do you not believe Christ use men still today? He uses me quite often to speak and I still don't know why I'm worthy enough for that!

Just to say that the faith of the person in the church does not determine the rightness of the doctrines of a church.

My late father said he remembered seeing his Methodist mother shouting her
long hair down, while still in the Methodist church.
BUT GOD didn't leave her
there. He led her through the valley of the shadow of death. He was with her
all the time. But it was only a "shadow", of death. Then HE allowed an old
Apostolic Pentecostal preacher to com to their small town and preach the Acts 2
message of New Testament salvation. She searched it out, saw that it was in the
Book, believed and obeyed it. It is the same message that will save today!

But God might leave somebody else there.

Is this a valid argument?
When men are free there is the freedom to think, study and decide for oneself. This always opens the opportunity for differing conclusions. But, over time, truth can prevail as long as the various camps don't create for themselves little "catholic churches' where they rally around and convince one another of the error of every one elses ways.

And... even so... unity by demand is not unity.
