If you're going to leave.. .leave.

If you're going to talk about us... talk with us.

But when the con population leaves and then says the forum is going liberal... That's like all the men leaving and saying the forum is focusing on female issues. Well duh... you left.
Well, for what it is worth, from the best of my recollectio, I never declared I was leaving permanently. I have declared that I read and will post occassionally. And I most certainly do not go anywhere to some other corner of the world and hash AFF.

Obviously, Forums metamorphis over time. As they do folks have to make determinations about their involvements. I would posit that if a slew of cons showed up on AFF and began posting with regulairty it wouldn't be long until several Libs would leave saying "AFF is going too con."

Such is life...

Yes sir. I am sure that is the case. I'm not wanting to place a blanket accusation toward all of our conservative friends. It' just one of those "if the shoe fits" things and it doesn't seem to fit here. I hope no offense was taken.

I don't actually like using the term "con" as I consider myself a "con" myself. I am conservative in the manner that my family and I live and I love doing so. Any negative I would see in the term would not be people's convictions. But, rather, the inability of some to tolerate others who dare think differently.

Yes sir... and they would be contributing to the fulfillment of their own prophecies if they said that and then left.

Brad, I just saw where you are in The Woodlands. I was there visiting an Aunt in October. Wish I could have met you in person!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Do many of y'all have un-assembled snowmen in your yards?
