Re: Obama-Christian By Choice

Limbaugh focused in on Obama's statement of "being my brother's and sister's keeper, treating others as they would treat me."

"The reason why this is important is there's an effort by the left to say that Jesus was a socialist," said Limbaugh, "and they are using this to turn many evangelical people into global-warming people. We are the stewards of the planet and so forth. There's an ongoing effort here to corrupt Christianity."

According to the socialists, this means brother A takes from brother B to give to Brother C for his needs.

Brother A takes from Brother B to give to Brother C?

Why doesn't Brother A just give of his own substance to Brother C?

I know plenty of Wright's theology, both with a cursory knowledge of Black Liberation Theology, and with the constant infotainment provided by Riley, Hannity & Co.

You are still in so many different directions, it's impossible to have a coherent, linear discussion with you. Reminds me of an old Wayan's Brothers episode when the old man would randomly shout a phrase out (for example: "Mike Jackson was a Puerto Rican!"). It was funny, but of course made no sense.

Sounds like some of these guys come together when there are mutual things in common. Rob McKee doesn't agree with Brooklyn Tab, but they are acquainted and he even "stood behind Cymbala" at his church. No matter, what's your point? That Obama isn't a Christian? He is a Christian, in the universal sense of the word, but he's a dangerous Christian? That he's a Muslim? What? Oh wait, the thread title is about his Christian faith.
He did? LOL...

Re: Obama-Christian By Choice

Rahm hit the road today to go back and seek the mayor job in Chitown. If Obama was a Christian, at some point he wouldn't not have appointed such an f-bomb generator as a personal assistant. Rahm (dead fish) has the top ranking for vulgarity in Washington.

You "stood behind/stood with" the Cymbala's about as much as others do who come together for a joint purpose, though they may be world's apart in other areas.

That was the point.

Ok...gotcha...I understand what you are saying...sort of..but of course I never stepped on the platform. My wife did...

I guess It is a big deal when Apostolic Preachers (who are still Apostolic) do stuff huh?... Just visiting BT stirred folks up...more on the liberal side than the conservative. (reminds me a lot of Esther 5:14) I must remain careful and consistent with my actions. Lots of people are watching...and hoping...

Thank you for your comment...just for the record. I'm not a fan of Obama.
God Bless
Have a great day.

You're a UPC preacher in TX. I think they ask you to resign and turn your license in if you vote Democrat

Stirred up the Libs more than the Cons? Or maybe you're just hearing the libs more -- while the cons are having secret gossip sessions behind your back. Not to make you paranoid or anything

But to the point of consistency -- like it or not, you're a well-known UPC pastor, and it does make people wonder. The "charismatics" who get slammed at so many meetings are always back-patted when they can benefit someone. The UPC theology says those guys are not only lost, but preaching a lie, heresy.. especially Cymbala, who is quite familiar with Oneness Pentecostalism.

Then that leads to the whole idea of singing these heretic's songs, listening to their sermons, etc... That's not to say you can't learn from anyone, but borrowing their spiritual forms, rocking out with them, but later calling them a deceiver of the truth just doesn't sound consistent.

It's not a bash on you. It was just posted here that you were doing the BT gig, so it became a "for example" conversation.

Respectfully,

Hey Coaide, I'm not a drone, I'm a real person. Nor did I vote for Obama. Easy on the conspiracy theories, my friend. And why are you talking about Obama still? Rob and I aren't even on that topic? You are a confused man.

And no, I didn't make anything up. Go re-read the posts if it will help you.
