I guess It is a big deal when Apostolic Preachers (who are still Apostolic) do stuff huh?... Just visiting BT stirred folks up...more on the liberal side than the conservative. (reminds me a lot of Esther 5:14) I must remain careful and consistent with my actions. Lots of people are watching...and hoping...
Thank you for your comment...just for the record. I'm not a fan of Obama.
God Bless
Have a great day.

You're a UPC preacher in TX. I think they ask you to resign and turn your license in if you vote Democrat
Stirred up the Libs more than the Cons? Or maybe you're just hearing the libs more -- while the cons are having secret gossip sessions behind your back. Not to make you paranoid or anything
But to the point of consistency -- like it or not, you're a well-known UPC pastor, and it does make people wonder. The "charismatics" who get slammed at so many meetings are always back-patted when they can benefit someone. The UPC theology says those guys are not only lost, but preaching a lie, heresy.. especially Cymbala, who is quite familiar with Oneness Pentecostalism.
Then that leads to the whole idea of singing these heretic's songs, listening to their sermons, etc... That's not to say you can't learn from anyone, but borrowing their spiritual forms, rocking out with them, but later calling them a deceiver of the truth just doesn't sound consistent.
It's not a bash on you. It was just posted here that you were doing the BT gig, so it became a "for example" conversation.
