It was a good decision by the UPC. The BAO did the same. They are styill holding the line, and I thank the Lord for it.

RN, If you don't mind my asking, did you have these same views before you beleived in the oneness message and received the HG? If you wanna leave the UPC church that you are going to, thats fine I guess, but if you have had these views before getting the revelation of who God is, what difference would it make now? Just curious.

PLEASE!!!!!
I have been delievered from my wanderings. I know what I should have done and what should be done in this situation. Now, please, continue trying to keep me in my past, while I strive for my future.

I'd rather see a sermon than hear one anyday... It's like a none smoker telling a smoker how to quit...

Looking back on it, I think that I did believe some form of eternal security when I first got saved since when I first started getting intrested in getting religous, I had a conversation with a Baptist who I know and asked her what if someone got converted to your beliefs and then started living a life of sin and she said, "then they were never saved to begin with." As for my eschatological beliefs, I do think that I had a clear belief of what the second coming and the end times would be like. After not too long though, I think that I began to embrace my churches teachings, and then after studying the Bible, I gradually began to see things differently than what they taught.

Have you ever considered they might be the teacher and you might be the student. I had plenty ideas when I started in school but a teacher was there to let me know 2 + 2 = 4.

I cant help but think there is both more and less to this story than is being shared.

there are lots of preterests around if that is what you are. as for the other, well, good luck with all that.

but I dont think these are the two reasons you want to leave a upci church. I also think you have already left, even if you are still going to a upci church.

Ferd, the Petulant Cavalier, just drove an entire box of 16 penny nails through the heart of the matter, IMO.
