Priscilla and Aquila obviously thought they understood God better or they would not have tried to teach Apollos more perfectly. Acts 18:26

Your prideful arrogance is not only Cultish, it shows a great lack of humility in considering other peoples views.
It seems you have it all figured out, and that nothing can be said to stop you from burning witches at the stake.
God forbid you ever wind up in any kind of Ministry. We have enough abused Christians in the World.

Wow! that was extremely judgemental! How did you get all of that from.........
"I have never read any word Paul wrote outside the Bible young man, have you?"

Was Apollos a professing Christian? Secondly, was it Aquila & Priscilla that said they did this, or Luke?

Read the rest of His/Her posts. They reek with an arrogant stance that it's "His/Her way, or the Highway".
Did you look at them? This person has a problem.

It doesn't matter whether Apollos was a Christian at the time or a disciple of John waiting for Christ, Aquila and Priscilla had a superior knowledge of God. (this knowledge did not make them in and of themselves superior, btw)

Can you point out specifics? What specifically did this poster say that "reeked with an arrogant stance"?

Oh yes, it absolutely does. In fact, that's the ONLY thing that matters as it pertains to this thread. The original subject matter was, "Does meing apostolic make you better than the Christian mainstream?" So whether or not Apollos was a professing Christian is totally what matters here.
And we have no idea if A&P thought they were "better". It was Luke that said it about them, not them about themselves.

No, just means you won't burn in hell like you deserve.

I mean look at this! You won't burn in Hell like you deserve??? This is an age old practice of setting him apart from others, and using fear to drive home his point.
In other words, if we don't follow his advice, we BURN!

Excellent point, NotforSale. His post was inexcusable and anyone who would see that as acceptable would suffer from the same theological & spiritual arrogance as he.
