BTW, I read something yesterday about drinking 1 tsp of non-aluminum baking soda in a glass of water twice a day and it would cure cancer. I wonder if that really works? LOL! It is supposed to clean out your kidneys and if you have acid reflux, it helps that also. I think we have many things available to us, that we can heal ourselves. "The Maker's Diet" is a prime example of a man healing himself from Crohn's Disease. Nona Freeman said there were ways to heal yourself of cancer, but pointed out it was too long of a process for her to publish in her little book, can't remember the title off hand.
Still on a hijack!

I want to add that this Documentary is very informative about our food supply, which, IMO, is a great cause for illness in world. You can purchase or rent this video at Hastings.

The filmmaker takes his camera into slaughterhouses and factory farms where chickens grow too fast to walk properly, cows eat feed pumped with toxic chemicals, and illegal immigrants risk life and limb to bring these products to market at an affordable cost. If eco-docs tends to preach to the converted, Kenner presents his findings in such an engaging fashion that Food, Inc. may well reach the very viewers who could benefit from it the most: harried workers who don’t have the time or income to read every book and eat non-genetically modified produce every day.
