She had posted a prayer request a few days ago... I assumed it has something to do with that and a generally busy schedule, but I miss her and am praying for her!!!

hey anyone got a preacher they want to bash? Thought this thread was about bashing and I have not seen any of that being done. You all are getting lazy in your old age.
Tie the preachers pay to their performance, does anyone have goals that they have to meet in a given year? Then there will be nothing for the saints to complain about. Salary without measurement is not found in many other professions. I know that if I treat my customers like I could care less. They reward me by not signing any more contracts. Where have all the people person's gone? It's not the eloquence of your words, nor the threads in your suit, the stripes on your tie, the initials on your shirt. It's the manner in which you carry your character and your heart.
Bump for TulsaDavid. Just wondering, is it because the bashers are in grave danger of God punishing them (there have been stories posted here on AFF of mockers being killed on the spot, e.g.)? Or is it that they're sadly deluded? Or is it that they'll miss out on some kind of blessing because of their attitude? Or what? Just wondering.
Any stories of God's judgment on people who "bash the preacher"?

I don't think we should focus on judging Pastors nor should they judge the saints, but we all have a responsibity to judge all teaching - receiving only what we know is sound.

So maybe you're right, SH. At least the part about judging pastors: bad idea! Can't say I've heard about a pastor being killed for judging a saint, but ya never know.
