I am not trying to change the bible but the 3 step theology does not line up cause if it did people that could not speak or repent would be in hell and I don't think I serve a god that will allow that to happen..

If someone came up to you and said they were filled with the Spirit would you believe them? I would not believe them or doubt them, I have no idea but you can be sure I won't be buying beach front property in a swamp either..

However, HOW did they know the Samaritans did NOT receive the Spirit yet? (Samaria Acts 8)

How did they KNOW the Gentiles did? (Cornelius Acts 10)

How did they KNOW the Jews did (Pentecost Acts 2)

How did they KNOW the disciples of John did (Ephesus Acts 19)

They could have assumed, but they KNEW it when something happened.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

You don't have to be able to speak in order to repent. The only person that can't repent is a dead person.
