I watched it over the net. I have always had a respect for Pastor Johnson. I was very impressed with his time on TBN. The entire conversation did not mention prosperity..

It was a good prayer. Praying for the hungry heart - you can reach to the uttermost.......

It's not that he had to quote Acts 2:38. By his prayer and knowing him, his prayer would lead the hungry to find truth. It was a most excellent prayer. He seemed, IMO, to ignore the "prayer of salvation" request and prayed what he knew to be true. I loved it!!!!

He prayed the "prayer of salvation" - - God send salvation to those listening! I thought it was awesome! Hopefully, it planted seeds in hearts that they want to know more!!

LOL! Okay, I take the "prayer of salvation" as a "give your heart to Jesus" and that's it. Perhaps it's my stereotypical thinking of TBN.

Some things are good, but overall, I can do without it.
