I am appalled when I read stories of the unrelieved suffering of Americans who are not fortunate enough to have adequate medical coverage.
Basic health care is a fundamental human right. How can the richest nation on earth consider itself a Christian nation when hardworking Americans are denied relief of their suffering?
The American for-profit health care system was spawned in greedy capitalist hearts - the love of Christ constrains men to care for the suffering, not to profit from their pain.
If President Bush has received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, the suffering members of this forum, who are denied the dignity that more well-to-do Americans offer their pets, will be the first to know about it.

You have simply bought into the popular media, medical care is available for almost every American as well as 12 million illegals from south of our borders and a few from the north come and buy our health care because they can't get it at home. I have heard that your great health system takes years to get care for folks with life threatening situations. How true is this?

You have bought into the popular media, great medical is available expeditiously for all Canadians as well as many Americans who come north shopping for less expensive prescriptions that won't send them into bankruptcy.

I’ve bought meds from Mexico and Canada, it’s a whole lot cheaper . One of them cost $ 297.00 and the generic cost $ 97.00 here in the states, for a 30 day supply, I can order from Canada a six mouths supply for only $ 56.00 and from Mexico a one year for $ 100.00.

With all respect, Bro. my understanding is that Canada's health system is terrible:
Long waits for simple procedures
Drs. who quit for the year when the money (subsidies) run out
I am appalled when I read stories of the unrelieved suffering of Americans who are not fortunate enough to have adequate medical coverage.

The United States is not a Christian nation. It's a Constitutional Republic. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the government will provide health care.
The American for-profit health care system was spawned in greedy capitalist hearts - the love of Christ constrains men to care for the suffering, not to profit from their pain.
The main problem with our health care system, as I see, it is the legal issue. It costs a lot to insure against a lawsuit.
If President Bush has received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, the suffering members of this forum, who are denied the dignity that more well-to-do Americans offer their pets, will be the first to know about it.
I think if Pres. Bush has received the Holy Ghost, he could donate his oil profits to the needy and if others "receive the Holy Ghost" they would also act like true Christians and give to those in need.
Then we wouldn't NEED the government to "take care" of us.

There is definitely an "agriculture" man from Herrick, IL (Christ Tabernacle) who has been able to personally witness to & pray for GWB on a few occasions. I have not heard that he has received the Holy Ghost.

We definitely have health care problems in the USA and there is no reason for inflation in that sector to be many times higher than overall inflation. There are just no easy answers.

Sure there are. Everyone just needs to get educated, so they can get one of them high paying jobs with health insurance. Wait a minute! Who would wait on you at Starbuck's if that happened?
