I've been retired from GE for 10 years.
Once before I retired, some one told me,
"You're so old that when God said, 'Let there be light,'
you were the one that flipped the switch."

My wife and I could never have kids so I was working this last Father's Day and one of the new YOUNG nurses wished me 'happy father's day'. I always say 'thanks but no kids". She must have felt bad because in a couple of seconds she said "Well you can be my dad than". I almost said a bad word when I realized that I WAS old enough to be her dad.........Stupid nurse!

RD, LOL,
I was full time ministry/missionary for 10 years, right out of college. So I delayed career and marriage. Point being I was in my 30s before I married. We waited 7 years to have a child. One day I took my two kids to the grocery store. There was a smiling store employee who greeted us at the door. He said, "Well isn't that nice, you kids are spending the day with GRANDPA." I said, "yeah, is'nt that nice."
