What an incredible statement. Kind of puts things in perspective.

And I will be candid enough to say that there is some arrogance and elitist attitude celebrated as holiness too, from time to time.

There are some very nice posts on this thread. For the record, I tend to judge folks by their spirit! There a both cons and libs that show a bad spirit that makes me uncomfortable.
On the other side, there are both cons and libs that have great attitudes and spirits, and don't make a habit of belittling others with whom they disagree.
These are the folks that I call friends.

I feel the same way!! I think it is pretty evident, pretty quickly, what kind of a attitude people have!
I can handle hearing any point of view/belief, as long as it is not presented in a hateful way.

I think some people are more concerned with winning argument than they are retaining friends. I think some people will only be friends with you for as long as you agree with them. I think that there are just as many liberal control freaks as there are conservative control freaks.
I also think that you are what your friends are.
Steadfast, I draw the line at salvation as well. We may disagree about a lot of things, but no friendship is worth watering down the message.
I will say that I think the attempt to hybridize Oneness/Trinitarians is frightening. As if who God is doesn't matter at all?

I disagree!
Can we still be friends?
This was a test and only a test. If this had been an actual disagreement I would be the one who is correct.......

What do you think is their agenda?
