FYI - While Jk for those of us who know him well was preaching this message all I could think about is he is trying to earn his stripes with Morton and his UC elders he looks up to. He was not trying to benefit the students sitting under him.

My, O my! Thad defines "out of fellowship" as being out of the UPC. Thad does that mean Dan is out of the body of Christ if he is out of the UPC? And 'Homey' makes distinctions between Thad's people and his own people! Are they not both God's people?

Whatever you want to say, boys. 
If you want to bash God's 'truth' be my guest. You may not agree with Homey's brand of truth and I'm not sure I do either but God's truth, his word, is a treasure. And sometimes Dan comes across as being the great defender of truth with his caustic sword not considering that perhaps he is doing exactly what others are doing, defending what they believe to be truth.
So is Dan the man in the white hat or are those that hold to 'standards' wearing the white hat? It's just a bunch of sarcastic fiery darts being thrown back and forth with no substance (scripture) to back up the "yo momma" type dialogue.
