I'll continue to say I'll vote for Rubio over Hillary, but the more Rubio I see the less I like. What really bugs me about Rubio is he rose up as a Tea Party guy and then abandoned his "principles" when he got to Washington to get in good with career politicians. That's what he is, that's all he is, a politician. A chameleon--he stands for whatever is popular at the time and what will get him votes. He's the Republican Obama/Hillary.
Exactly! Now Rand Paul is following the GOPe's lead, out of desperation or bitterness, saying that Ted Cruz flip-flopped on immigration, when he knows FULL well the process of killing a bill.

He is also hammering Ted on backing out of the TPA, when he FULL well knows that Ted Cruz risked political capital calling out McConnell for lying about the backroom deal in the bill. Rand only stands up when it's easy.

On immigration - let me give you a quote from Ted Cruz in Alabama today - which had 1,500 in attendance, the Fire Marshall having to close the doors.

Here's the quote: "I got three words for people who say we can't secure the border - Secretary Jeff Sessions."

You'd think Rand wouldn't play the game seeing his dad was in the same position (twice) Cruz finds himself in now.

You'd think people would see that... and remember the GOP response.

Ah well, people must have their bread and circuses.

Love the reference to Jeff Sessions.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

This article clearly lines out the amendments that Rubio voted against. A record he can't lie his way out of.

Byron York: The facts on Rubio, Cruz, and immigration
"If you're going to attack someone on a policy issue," Rubio said on CBS Sunday, "you need to be clear about where you stand on the issue and where you've stood in the past."

I'm really happy that Rubio has gone around, telling people to look at Cruz's record, because his own record is now in the spotlight as well.

IMO, it was a huge mistake by Rubio to hit Cruz on immigration. Huge. Not sure how badly it may hurt him, since the establishment and FNC is propping him up, but it was a mistake for Rubio to bring attention to this deal.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

Good news: this article points out that Trumps numbers are inflated because many of his supporters are not likely voters in the primaries. He also does better in phone polls versus live polls.

Also this morning Cruz is within the margin of error 28-24 in a Qunnipiac poll. Cruz has risen 8 points, Rubio has dropped 5.

Also Cruz is 44-44 head to head against Hillary. Rubio gets beaten 44-43, Trump 44-37

When people get to know Cruz, they like him. The more people see of Hillary, they don't. And the more they know that Rubio is Establishment who would stoop to lies in order to win...
