I wish I could have made it to check it out. Question to nayone who was there. How was the music? I don't mean the style because I know lots of folks don't like Praise & Worship but how was the quality? I checked out the website and it looked like they might invest in their music dept??? I think they have a dude who does spanish ministry in the states tonight or tomorrow.

You'd think they wouldn't try the split pulpit up here,I guess they think we are so far north that we either did not read his first book or heard the split pulpit story from the states.
The split pulpit thing was my attempt at a joke. The punch line being that NBers had seen so many church splits that a pulpit split would be small potatoes to them.

I notice that it is a PAOC church in Lyttleton.I guess Tommy feels more comfortable outside the camp,it must break the Tenny's heart.

He's a preacher who became an author when he discovered that his dad's leftover sermons make real good books.)

Word is that he split a pulpit on Wednesday night, but didn't get much reaction from the crowd. They'd all seen so many church splits that a split pulpit didn't move them at all.
I am glad that I am away!!

Just wondering if they really know his "roots"???

And you are without doubt right about the "splits"!!!

Does that church have a "pastor" now?

I'm not so sure he'd be welcomed within the camp.

Your style of music, actually the same songs. Lots of heartfelt worship ,no doubt not with the finesse of CCC or Sunset. They have the usual keyboards, electric guitars and drums.

Now you're talkin! Why split a pulpit when splitting a church is much more exciting and certainly more dramatic!
