Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

So, the LEFT is up in arms that Ted Cruz speaks the truth - 7 in 10 felons are registered as Democrats.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

Lots of edited clips on the "condom" reference with Cruz in IA. Here is what he said, fully:

"Imagine for a second you're Hillary Clinton. You're trying to think, 'How do I run?' Well you can't run on the economy because we have the lowest percentage of Americans working any year since 1977. You can't run on Obamacare because millions of people have lost their jobs, lost their health care, lost their doctors, seen their premiums skyrocket. You certainly can't run on foreign policy because every country you touched as secretary of state is a disaster."

"So what do you do? You go, 'Ah, ha! Condom police. I'm gonna make up a completely made up threat and try to scare a bunch of folks into thinking someone's going to steal their birth control. What nonsense."

"Hillary Clinton embraces abortion on demand in all circumstances up until the moment of birth. Partial-birth abortion with taxpayer funding, with no notification for parents in any circumstances -- 91% of Americans say that's nuts. So what do they do, they try to shift it. The war on women wasn't that, it was contraceptives. Now listen, I have been a conservative my entire life. I have never met anybody, any conservative who wants to ban contraceptives."

"Last I checked we don't have a rubber shortage in America. When I was in college we had a machine in the bathroom, you put .50 cents in and voila! So yes, anyone who wants contraceptives can access them, but it's an utterly made-up nonsense issue."

Besides being funny, he has a great point that Hillary has nothing to run on, and he proves he is very capable of debating her.

Cruz is brilliant and has won me over.

Awesome!!

The attacks are certainly increasing. Hillary is starting to take notice of Cruz. The GOPe is trying to bolster Rubio, who can be manipulated, and CNN put out a ridiculous video mocking Ted preparing his family for a decent family ad he wants to put out for the public.

Of course, the low-information voters won't realize that not everyone knows how to present themselves without a bit of coaching. And why wouldn't he want to put out something that isn't shoddy? If that's all they have.....

Still wondering if Trump is helping the Democrats or the country. He certainly says some things that make me uncomfortable on how he would lead - with a strong fist - my way or the highway. I believe he loves America, but he is as narcissistic as Obama is. I don't want that. If he did end up the nominee, debating Hillary, I think he could get away with rolling his eyes and being condescending to her. LOL!

Ted Cruz To Convene Congressional Hearing To Examine Claims Of Global Warming Activists

"As the son of two scientists, I have been taught since I was very young that scientific conclusions should be based on the evidence and the data. The inconvenient truth, for global warming alarmists in 2015, is that for the past 17 years the satellite temperature data have shown almost no warming of the Earth’s climate. This is especially inconvenient for them because the models all showed that the Earth should have continued rapidly warming during this time. In response, we have seen global warming alarmists resort to the language of theology, calling all those who question the alarmists’ conclusions, including many in the scientific community, ‘deniers.’ And they are being called that merely for saying, ‘hold on a minute. Before we make radical policy changes that will have a substantive impact on our economy, jobs and quality of life for millions of Americans, we should take a minute to ensure that these policies are based on real science and real data.’ Especially when the solution to the purported problem always seems to be more and more government.

I look forward to our hearing next week and talking with the witnesses about what is really happening in the field of climate science, and how we can ensure that U.S. policymaking is based on the evidence and the data, and not merely the wishes of liberal global warming alarmists."

Ted Cruz as Goldilocks on Military Intervention

In making the case, Cruz is pointing out Rubio’s support for intervention in Libya and Syria. The former has now provided a safe haven for ISIS and the latter has emboldened Russia. This is a good place for Cruz to be and I also think it is the sweet spot for the GOP.

Likewise, I've long preferred Cruz above some others or along with some others. But he's made my mind up.

But I'm not sure he can beat Rubio who will get all the push from the establishment, Fox News (except Hannity) and even favorable leftist media coverage because as much as the left fears Rubio, they really don't want to see Cruz v Hillary. They'll treat Rubio decent during the primaries then roast him in the general election.

I think the GOP will really be a 2 man race between Rubio-Cruz.

As for the general election, as much as I like Cruz I'm not sure he could win, but I'd still like to see him try.

He certainly won't be backing down to Candice Crowley in any debates.

Rubio is Romney 2.0 and that's not a bad thing if the alternative is Hillary. But I'm really hoping Cruz keeps his momentum going. Too bad Rubio and Cruz can't debate one on one like Sanders-Clinton.

Watch Trump's speech from Mananas last night and tell me people are going to abandon him at the last minute to support Rubio. The GOP ticket will be Trump/Cruz.

Trump was booed this morning at the Republican Jewish Coalition for not taking a stand on Jerusalem being the capital of Israel.

He keeps saying, "Don't worry. You are going to love what I do", but he never gets specific. Although, he was specific here in his speech today, "I don’t know that Israel has the commitment to make a peace agreement."

What's that supposed to mean? Sounds like his Liberal heart is showing. He is refusing to acknowledge that Palestinians don't want to recognize Israel, and that is what is wrong with the peace process.

Is Pat Buchanan a liberal? Hopefully Trump will stay out of that conflict. It's time to cut Israel loose. We can remain a trading partner. But all too often they have tried to control our Congress and we have prevented them from defending themselves.
