Then all I can say is you need to keep studying how the time language works everything out. Trying to force Revelation into today's headlines is where you can get people in trouble. You said it yourself, Endtime Fads, when you teach the structure of the time language of Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13 you will see Revelation unfold.

the attitude of being tired of hearing preachers bicker and fight... I could care less of you are upc, ind, aljc or whatever... when oneness preachers are fighting, they are wrong... if all you are doing is trying to prove you are right, then you are wrong.... seems like we've missed the scriptures that speak of back biting and sowing discord... whose side are we supposed to be on? are we to win the lost or prove our point? we can't win the lost when we are to busy fighting over things that don't even matter.... and when we are winning the lost, then we've fallen right into the devils plan! because in the end, these bickering preachers are bitter and lose out anyway....

Sis,
With all due respect I see what you are saying but one thing you have to realize here is these men come here to talk/mingle and yes bicker... they do not hold these things against each other.. they are for the most part sharpening their swords most of them...This is a place where 99% of the preachers who come on here are apostolic and all from different orgs and different ranks.. different types (lib, con etc..) These men can meet each other face to face and have a love for each other and truly help each other.. in their ministries and in their lives and in their knowledge..
These men who do sit and bicker back and forth a vast majority of them are friends outside of this forum... yes there have been some different things than normal seen and said in the past 2 days on this thread especially but for the most part... they are all friends..
One thing one must have when participating on AFF is a strong backbone.. they can talk about these things here because for 1 we dont have many of and strongly recommend the new in Christ dont come here too often if they arent strong and grounded yet because it might be a bit harsh!Yet we are all aware this is a public forum and we cant totally control who is here and not... so we just say.. remember this is a forum and most of these people... do get along but the banter makes some of us who we are... we are fun people yet we are deep, curious and love most of all the banter that goes along with this place... Just a fewthoughts

Hey Gaston, watch yourself. You might just be crossing the line of what constitutes BASHING on this forum.
Additionally, this idiotic analogy doesn't hold water. The Pope is nothing like a GS. You are comparing a single leader to the pope...does your church have more than one Pastor? Did your family have more than one father? Just having a single leadership office does NOT mean it's the equivelent of the Pope. Anyone with half a brain would know that...or at least if they were honest enough and intelligent enough to study Roman Catholicism and what the Pope is and who he represents.
Same goes with the rest of this analogy. Do you have leaders in the church or other elders? Can it be then said of your local church what comparison you drew of the UPCI?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
