I'll think of more later.
What is the point in a woman, with children who go to school all day, staying home? If she wants to earn her own money then so be it. It's an ego trip for the men. Everything else I agree with you on.

I just want to say, I love that I have the privlige to be able to stay at home with my little boy and one on the way!!! My husband and I prayed for us to be able to do it. I do think the Lord blesses us because I do stay home. When the one on the way goes to school I might get a part time job but I do want to be here for them when they get out of school. I do not think it is an ego trip for the man if their wife stays home. I do own a Family Home Daycare though so that I am able to stay at home and take care of the home and our children.

I thought the church was for people with problems???

I can't see them disappearing without someone with another problem taking their place...

If a Pastor is going to complain about all the "problems" then he is in the wrong business...imo...

Who's complaining?

He was just pointing out some root causes.

Problems are humans malady.... getting over them, around them, thru them are reasons we all need God...

If folks didn't have any problems here on earth then we wouldn't need God...

There was a reason the Trees were in the Garden...

Sister, if you have a pre schooler and another one on the way, then I agree you should be at home. However, once your children are in school, if you want to work then it should be your choice to work or stay home.

I've seen too many men let their pride get in the way when it comes to their wives working. They're the big bad bread winners who don't think a married woman should work at all. I am glad my wife has finally been able to find herself a job. She's put her time in this house, day in and day out, dealing with four children. We have both been waiting for this time in our lives, when all of our children are in school all day.

It is interesting... A perfect scenerio for man...and God...and man gets lonely...God see's his lonliness and creates woman...then there are the Two Trees in the Perfect Garden... God tells man he may eat of every tree of Garden but of the tree of the knowledge of Good & Evil he may not eat?

It also never says he didn't eat of the tree of Life... the only tree that was off limits was the Knowledge of Good & Evil... Why go thru all the trouble of perfection and allow the tree & the Serpent to be in the Garden?

Man was created by God and for God... We need Him everyday and every hour..

Just some interesting thoughts... anybody else??
