Storms are the result of the perversion of nature, brought on by the choice Adam and Eve made in the Garden of Eden.

Big Larry,

Maybe you could tell something about the 1992 Mother's Day tornado

in Wylie, Texas. Maybe I will tell some about it too. It was amazing how

God showed His Protective Power that day!

Blessings,

Falla39

I think God can do anything He wants with or without our help.

He can, however He has chosen to consider man in what He does.

Who Causes Storms?

In Deut. the 8th chapter Moses rehearsed the wilderness wanderings

with the children of Israel. He told them why God had led them through

the howling wilderness, wandering round and round. Moses told them God

did it to HUMBLE them, to PROVE them, to SEE WHAT WAS IN THEIR HEART

and to SEE IF THEY WOULD OBEY His commandments or no. I call that

"Proving Ground". Soldiers take obstacle courses and exercies before they

go into active battle. It is called "basic training". In this life we will go

through "experiences" to prove us also. There is a scripture that says

because you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler

over many. Now if we have not been trained and proved, why would

anyone call us faithful. God is not going to put a novice over many!

The "storms and tests" of life will prove us or disprove us. I could tell

you a few! I can also tell you that GOD IS FAITHFUL, who will not allow

the righteous (depending on His Righteousness) to be tested above

what they are able, but will with the test, make a way (means) of

escape that they may be able to endure it!

Blessings,

Well said, Falla.
A wise father will not place his wealth into the hands of a rebellious and irresponsible son. Neither will our Heavenly Father place His resources into the hands of an unproven son.

God, who at sundry times and in various ways, spoke unto the

fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days, spoken unto us

by His Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom

also he made the world.

Did God decide that he could use men (humans) better than angels.

Why do angels desire to look into the things given to us by God.

By the Spirit of the Living God, we are able to escape the storms

and tests of life.

In the old testament angels carried His Presence and then there

were the prophets, etc. Chosen men. God came to earth and connected

with mankind and now He knows how it feels to be in man. Not just with

mankind! Better promises, better, better. The promise of the Father pro-

vided much better things for mankind!! God identified with mankind when

He got inside His Creation. Creator inside creation!

Gotta run to the dentist, so if this is not in the best of order, I shall

return, the Lord willing!!

Blessings,

Falla39

Regardless, nature bows to the will of God and He has ultimate jurisdiction over it all and if He says to the wind, "BLOW!", it will blow. You can count on it!
