The internet net like many things contain both good and bad...I choose to use the good...
Sin begins in the heart...KEEP the heart right...
I personally do not agree with lots of people concerning many things but one thing is for certain what may or not be considered a sin today is obsolete tomorrow...so the real matter is the HEART.

I am weeping at our hardness of hearts and lack of love.

It seems that the liberals whine about the UPC more than the conservatives are whining. Are you blind, or just choosing not to see that?

If you don't like AFF that much, what has stopped you from leaving?

"Crawling back under a bridge"; does that make you a troll?

Yes, and I'm like ..... "when is this going to end"? For goodness sake, we're adults here and supposed to exemplify the love and understanding, mercy and grace of God. There's a time to complain and talk about the issue ... and then to move on.

Time to move on. Enough already.

I have thought about this for some time trying to figure out why and here are some of my theories / thoughts;

1. Ultra cons are not used to their positions being questioned or contended with as their paradigm does not allow for that kind of scrunity / contention. AFF and the like takes them out of their comfort zone.

2. Because by the very nature of their ultra conservative positions it is hard for ultra cons to contend for their positions without violating the spirit and or rules of the forum since they really do believe almost everybody else is going to hell for any myriad of "sins" from short sleeved shirts to playing golf depending on just how ultra the con is.

3. They get sick and tired of having positions, applications of scripture, etc that they hold dear and sacred being dismissed as wrong by mods and libs.

4. The occasional run of wacko ultra libs is just "one toke over the line" of their willingness to interact with the other spectrums of Oneness Pentecost.
1. Isn't that the very purpose of AFF? To explore new ideas and concepts so we can stretch our current understanding? Nothing wrong with that.

2. Well I'm Lost. Does that mean that I'm going to hell too?

3. I guess I prefer that over not believing in any application of the scriptures at all. That seems to be a popular AFF-pasttime: talking down and deminishing anything that remotes draws a person closer to Christ. It's so much easier to bash it and just live like the world. Better yet, to call oneself a Christian and live like the Devil.

4. Ultra-whacko lib? That must be as bad as an ultra-whacko con. Except it's the ultra-whacko con's job to send the ultra-whacko lib to the burning flames.

That's why I haven't weighed in on this...can't seem to figure out what the deal is.

With SO many pressing matters in our lives, and people going through literal life and death situations, and those which seem like life and death, this other stuff just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Just my humble and unasked for opinion...

Friends, it is all about influence.

Some want it, some have it.

Others just cry.

I'm still not really sure what it's all about. It's an imperfect world. People are imperfect and make imperfect judgments and decisions and sometimes people get caught in the middle of that. I understand "unfairness" and I've taken my share of licks.

But hey - that was yesterday - and yesterday's gone. Remember that song?
