Well you can tell most of the older ministers here in AL are passing away. When I was younger most of the churches pastored by older ministers wouldn't allow the women to join the choir or sing if they showed up with their hair down. I am only 29 so that wasn't a long time ago. Now we have this new fad................

I am truly bothered by this new teaching...............

If they accept this as a doctrinal position, which will happen if the leadership keeps pushing it, then they have just crossed the line into heresy.
This is what happen when you built a whole doctrinal on untruths, it can't go anywhere but downhill~

You know Catholics pray to Mary and claim miracles happen. They do their holy water and their house is protected. They pray to saints and do Novenas and claim something happened.

The point to crying statues and blood leaking from other idols as proof of their faith....this is what is really beginning to bother me that more and more of these stories are cropping up in our group as evidence that a womans uncut hair has power...if that is the case then so does statues of mary and holy water etc etc

Actually it sounds Occultic. We might as well go to the kabbalah , do numerology...light candles

The sad thing is, Paul didn't even say "power with the angels"...its' amazing how false doctrine is started and never even checked and taken for granted.

BTW if her hair is really a covering or veil, it should be worn down always, especially at church

That just doesn't make any sense for a group that preaches she should have LONG uncut hair, that it is her glory, that it is a covering and then hide it all on top of the head.

Maybe if they built their hair in the shape of a chimney with a big hole in the middle it would channel the power better?
