Hope that explains what I mean.

Yes, this may be the clearest explanation of the great divide between lay and clergy I have ever seen. And I've seen some clear ones.

OK, folks, on this side of the gap, we laymen must never speak of anyone on the other side, except in a fawning, adoring, approving tone. We may beat each other up, but we mustn't touch the anointed across the chasm.

On their side, they and only they can point out the specks in each other's eye. And the planks in ours, of course. We are "just saints", after all. We don't know what a minister "goes through". We don't know much of anything, I suppose.
Timmy, I read this the same way you did and agree with you completely. One day God will use a saint, a lowly saint to minister something profound to NYLP and he will see that God can work through anyone.

Oh! So this explains why you never responded to my post on this thread.

Does it count if I have a Theology degree from a UPC Bible College? I am not active in ministry but is that enough of a qualification that you could at least read my post and consider it?

Is it okay to compare a religious dogma as a holocaust when those burning in hell for this error reaches six million?

There are spiritual exterminations all the time. It doesn't cheapen the horrific events in Germany, it shows the seriousness of a false religous dogma.

Steve Taylor said it best. Be clone kiss conviction good night.. Clonliness is next to godliness, right. If people are not spiritual robots, they are discarded. Or heaven forbid called charismatic.

Ha, tell you what..if you get that job with the television station, try inserting those words into one of the broadcasts and tell me how long it takes the suits to come and hand you a pretty little pink slip...this just isn't done!! There a few who will get away with it (Shock Jocks on sateliite or Rush Limbaugh) but anyone else in the public eye who tries to equate anything/idea in our time with the Holocaust is shut down quickly.

I understand where those on the left and middle try to put names on conservatives...but to try to place Hitlers atrocities on these men and women is lower than low. You won't change my mind, I know I'm right so leave it alone. Unless you are from Rwanda and would like to talk about massacres, then I would give you some leeway.....
