i am sure these guys were doing their best, as passed down to them; immersed in the RCC as they must have been. It is the same tactic that satan uses in any human organization; it is his "in;" "let me set the parameters, the premise, and you guys can then flop around in the fire."

yes, the standard reply. Judge by the fruit, i say. One is perfectly free to revert to...whatever produces fruit for them. Amen.
Webster was a Mason, i believe?
so the point might be "beware of where you get your "facts."

I didn't grow up with the word repentence.
Repentence
Strong's Number: 3341
Original Word: metavnoia from (3340)
Definition: a change of mind, as it appears to one who repents, of a purpose he has formed or of something he has done

Never heard of any apostolic who thinks repentence and penance are the same, but it would not surprise me.

off the top of my head, what's wrong with
"immerse yourself in the One who bore the Cross for you" or something--anything, seeing as how so many "get baptized" and then continue sinning after flopping around for a while and giving up. And still, lightning has not struck me.

Is your post about the Bible being written improperly? Or is it about people who choose to continue in sin after they obey the command to be baptized in Jesus name?

So up means down if I use Webster?

I never worked at speaking in tongues. Didn't know anything about it really when I received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Amen. As the Spirit gives the utterance so the Good Book does declare.

hmm. ya, i dunno where most of that even comes from, sorry!
um, Scripture was written in a language, that we do not speak; we accept the translations of other men as Gospel, when they are only one reflection of it, arrived at by committee--and we have like, what, fifty of them. Commitees led by Masons? Is that really whose interp is best leaned upon? We claim to be Protestants, and celebrate Easter? ok.
Write your very own Bible, with the Holy Spirit as your guide, imo. Question every verse given to you by translation via some committee. We have the web, and lexicons available at the click of a mouse now. Seek and you will find, is possibly a point here.

hmm, i prefer "continue in ignorance," as i doubt that they understood the command, improperly passed down to them. It has become, obviously, a ritual to most. Empty. As evidence, i present the many who will cry "Lord, Lord." these were all "baptized."

well, that is not for me to say. Do you need Webster to differentiate the two? Why rely on a Mason, when you have the Holy Spirit?

if glossololia has produced fruit for you, then i say "amen." I have witnessed other evidence of "speaking in tongues," that produces fruit for me.
