Dont our Christian women have the same rights as men?
Or is something different between the sexes' that should remain covered for moral reasons?
Some christian men have no problem with women in bikini or halter tops.
Why wear them at all if upper body nakedness does not matter to God!

And that's the only thing you can come up with?

Re: Standards
Google ladies jeans and Google ladies skirts and view images. You decide for yourself which is overall most modest. Ladies should decide for their selves. This isn't my battle anyways. I don't want to wear a skirt. Even if men's skirts became a trend. It's to feminine for me. I don't even wear the color pink unless it is just an off shade of it, and mixed in with other colors. Not because its a sin, but its just not my style.

Re: Standards
Amen G.S....
eventually, it will be common for men to wear skirts like women do. Women have paved the way for wearing the attire of the opposite sex over the last 100 years.
Men are a little more reluctant to go there.(they need more feminizing).
My wife saw men in dresses on Americas' Top Model.
Its' here now and the only thing holding men back is their masculine peers' harrassing them.
We need to put in place a coalition of a group of men that refuse to wear dresses(like promise keepers)...LOL

No need to Google. I see enough everyday to decide. I guess its all in what you consider modest. Yea jeans will show more of the figure. Skirts show more skin. A nice pair of dress slacks don't show much of anything. This is assuming proper fit in the previously mentioned. Being married to a very openly honest woman and hearing blunt conversation should I tell you what lots of women look at????

Re: Standards
Speaking of modesty, guys need to stop wearing those skinny jeans!
Read somewhere a while back that some guys are even buying girl's jeans for a tighter fit.

Re: Standards
So... what is to be taught?
"Just be modest"? Who defines it? "Oh the saints ought to be led by God."
Very well. EVERY church or movement that took that route, and just left it up to the saint and his or her God, has (in my experience) wound up full of "saints" who either look like they are going to a night club (aka "meat market") or they dress like "people of wal-mart".
The bible seems to give pretty good "standards" but since cross dressing is being determined to be okay and since apparently nothing written means what it looks like it says (gotta have a degree in ancient lingo to understand so you'll know it all was in reference to peculiar ancient customs no longer prevailing).... so what's to be done?
Why, pat each other on the back, tickle the ears a bit, rejoice in our advanced knowledge (we've come a long way baby!) and continue NOT having genuine revival.
Sure, why not? It's worked so far, eh?
