I'm sure she washed them out before the sale. She can clarify that for herself.

Brother what would expect? We are talking about food. I know that it has been awhile that you have darkened the door of a UPC church, but have you seen the size of them tongue talking tubby's?
You know the scripture denim covers a multitude of sins?
I was always in fear of getting one of my eyes shot out. What would happen if one of the rather larger pastors got moving in the Holy Ghost and a button from his very tight suit coat happen fly out and put my eye out.
Standing by while friendly fire.

Re: A Whole New Level of Apostolic Hero Worship
I am disappointed in this whole stinking mess!! If you people had any sense of holiness you'd know that a tie is nothing more than a man-necklace!! A sin in other words (why do I have to point out sin to everyone??) And pantyhose. That's nothing more than wearing pride that will drop around your ankles if you're not careful. (Another sin if you aren't spiritual enough to know.)
Why auction off and buy sin?????

Really...what didn't, or still doesn't, cost money? Even if you only meet in homes there is still cost somewhere that must be paid for by either the host alone or the church as a whole.

I'd be quick to question it just as non-Apostiolics would because the names you just mention have a shady association with taking money from believers for themselves in the minds of many Christians.
If it was some Pastor I never heard of that belonged to the UMC and it was done as a fund raiser to send missionaries over seas, I don't give a hoot about them doing that.
Please demonstrate my inconsistency.

Prove it, don't spray it. How do you know what Paul would have a part of?
How is this turning "men of God" into Zeus? Who said it's ok to turn men into gods because we have the truth? Do you still beat your wife?
