Knew several white/mex mix. They favored white culture. Nothing Mexican about them, well, only their last names.

sad....why not just love where you came from? I get told I look like Mexican all the time.....no biggie. My dad looks like he is more black than an Indian.....I don't get it. Why worry about what backgrounds you come from and just embrace it. IMO humans are the weirdest species ever~

Thanks and she is so pretty. Seems as the world is so focused on outer appearance, she wouldn't be so bothered by it.

I guess she does favor the white culture, whatever that is. Man, I don't know, she is a great cook and we always have Mexican food when we get together. It's a family tradition for all of us white folks. LOL! I grew up eating Chalupas. Make them once a week or at least every other.

Maybe I am halfish and don't know it. Actually, I am Polish, German and Jewish.

I don't know... What's to embrace. My family is Mexican and proud.

Other than speaking a few Spanish phrases and loving the food... I don't know how to identify with La Raza.


My buddy said "You act so white. One of your parents had to be white. You are not a real Mexican."

I replied "estas pendejo, o que?"

You are correct in saying the world makes it an OUTWARD thing when real beauty comes from the inside first! It is sad the way the world makes kids feel about themselves! Teen suicide grows bigger each day
