With all the variance in OP church interpretations and they all claim to know 'truth'...sometimes it is best to ask God for ourselves what He means by some scriptures.

to a point--there are also scriptural principles behind every admonition or command of the Apostles & that is eternal!

I agree, but most people that preach "holiness standards" dont know how to properly interpret those scriptural principles. They preach it the way its been handed down for years and are ok with preaching and living in ignorance!

Re: Hair
Apostolicbelle though this forum says Apostolic most of these folks are ex-Apostolic and either don't go to church at all or many go to Trinity churches so pleasing the Lord with your hair is a concept they rejected years ago. May the Lord bless you in your desire to please Him. You might consult your pastor about posting on a forum like this? For a young convert I would discourage it.

In the early days of FCF some confused folks got involved in posting there and it was unhealthy for them and many of them no longer go to church or go to a Trinity church. Some are even on here only a shell of what they one time were. My concern is a babe in the Lord sees the name and thinks this forum actually promotes Apostolic doctrine. I remember getting in deep trouble telling a young convert on one of these "FCF" type forums to ask their pastor about being on here. And I am sure I will catch it for this but I care more for this young lady than these folks who are so careless with their own spiritual walk than to ignore her.
I like many folks on here and they know it but they expect me to shoot from the hip I have always did so and don't imagine I will change.

Ron, you caused the quotes to be mess up with this post. You have to make sure the brackets are in the right place. When you bolded the above, it messed up the brackets. Should have looked like this:
