Don't know about "first", but Jesus condemns those who don't believe. No matter if they're self-righteous or religious or whatever. John 3:18.
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:11 KJV

I couldn't let this pass. I do teach my daughter that she is equal. Where on earth do you get the idea that girls are not equal to boys? It seems I was blessed that while growing up in the UPC, I was not taught that I was less than because I was female, and was encouraged to go to college. I'm appalled that that isn't the case everywhere.
Where did I say a girl was less? See, you read something in my post that isn't there. Just because two things aren't equal does not mean that either of them are superior or inferior to the other.
An apple and an orange are both fruit, but are not equal by any means. Is the apple superior to the orange? Not in itself... and neither is the orange. Depending on the situation, one will be a much better fit... I'd much rather have an apple pie than an orange pie.....but it doesn't make one of them superior/inferior to the other just because they are not equal.
Same with men and women... definately not equal... both have very distinct roles and places within God's economy... but neither is inferior nor superior to the other...

Our greatest need is Righteousness.... unconditional love alone will not get someone into heaven... there are people in hell today that are loved unconditionally by the Lord.... but they are still in Hell. It is only through righteousness, obtained through the shed blood of Calvary that one can enter into eternal life. The love may be a venue, or a mechanism of bringing it about... but the love is not what is needed ultimately.
I didn't say that unconditional love alone would get us to heaven. You're arguing against something I didn't say. Another straw man. There will be many who reject the love of God for the love of this present world or for the love of sin or for the love of themselves and they will be damned a result. And since salvation only comes by Jesus Christ, and He is the Righteousness of God, when younger Jesus you get His Righteousness, you get His Salvation. We are justified by faith, made right with God by faith. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness. Jesus fulfilled the conditions of God's justice for sin. So all one big package. You get Jesus, you get everything.
God is love. Everything we have is a result of His great love for us.
"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him." -I John 3:1

My daughter is very athletic but also plays the piano, loves make up and fingernail polish and loves dressing up, cooking, decorating and designing and femininity and being our princess. She reads and writes songs and is a good artist. Playing soccer teaches her teamwork, how to be a winner and how to be a loser, exercise, good health, how to set and reach goals and it broadens her horizons, gives her confidence and she has made new friends. We have one family promising us to come visit church some Sunday through our involvement with soccer. The idea that our daughter playing soccer teaches her to be butchy or encourages masculinity in her life is idiotic.

Cindy, God is the mean old dictator ready to wipe us out for not measuring up! Stop the mushy gushy scriptures that talk about compassion and love and God forgiveness and mercy. That's for weak minded jelly spined pseudo Christians! We need to tremble in fear because our father is a big time child abuser!
