Following the story.

At a news conference Tuesday in Phoenix that will be live-streamed by WND, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse will present “indisputable proof” the Obama birth document released by the White House is a forgery, according to the posse’s lead investigator.

The press conference will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. [Local time will be 2:30 p.m., as Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time].

Taking an audacious and shocking angle against the constitutional eligibility mandate, Obama’s lawyer, Alexandra Hill, admitted that the image of Obama’s birth certificate was a forgery and made the absurd claim that, therefore, it cannot be used as evidence to confirm his lack of natural born citizenship status. In any event, this is all IRRELEVANT. Why? Because EVEN IF he was born in Hawaii, he is STILL NOT ELIGIBLE under the USC.

A natural born citizen requirement means that both his parents must be US Citizens at his birth (Minor v Happersset). There is NO DISPUTING the fact that his alleged father was NOT A US CITIZEN at Barry Jr's birth.

End of story.

you are wrong about this. natural born citizen means born in the US. parents dont matter.

Now the question of Mr. Obama is interesiting in that Hawaii was not a state at the time of his birth and the laws at the time were slightly different.

Minor VS Happersett spells it out - natural born citizen means LEGALLY a person born to US citizen parentS. PLURAL.

It does NOT mean 'someone born in the US parents don't matter.'

If that is all it meant, then there is no such thing as a difference between a citizen and a natural born citizen. Naturalised citizens and people who are citizens SOLELY BECAUSE THEY WERE BORN IN THE US are citizens because of the EXACT SAME REASON - naturalisation law (14th amendment, anyone?).

THEREFORE, a 'natural born citizen' MUST BE someone who is not ONLY a citizen, but something ELSE.... natural born citizenship is citizenship which is NOT conferred by NATURALIZATION LAWS. The ONLY citizenship that fits that specification is a US citizen born to two US citizens - there is no NEED for any law to establish such a person as a 'US citizen'.

HOWEVER, the 'US citizen by reason of birth inside the US' is something that occurs BECAUSE OF AN ACT OF LAW - the 14th amendment and the naturalisation/citizenship laws.

WHERE Obama was born is largely irrelevant. The fact his father was ADMITTEDLY a foreign citizen PROVES IN ITSELF Barry is not eligible.

Not that our government seems to care about laws anymore, but hey, at least let the record be clear for posterity's sake, I guess.
