Donald, JR was young then before his preaching days. I was so SHOCKED that he became the pastor of The Lighthouse in Jackson as his dad was SOOOOOOOOOO STRICT!!!!!!! Did you ever see that book he wrote with all the pictures of the womens SHOES in it? It was strange to me then and I was an ULTRA-CON!!!
I have heard that Donald, Jr has done well with the Lighthouse and that is shocking to me considering where he came from! I too have heard wonderful things about him and how great of a preacher he is!

He is definitely changing the face of Lighthouse, which is fine. That's his option as pastor, but it has never been a strict house before. They are split off of Bemis, for goodness sake!! However, I think they like this new guy, and it's growing.

When we're travelling through Jackson, we always try to be there at mealtime, and we go to Casey Jones. It's always been great!

I love their food, but you always leave smelling like fried cornbread. LOL! That's why we don't go very often.

I like Casey Jones, but it's nothing to write home about. There are too many other great places in Jackson to eat to say I wouldn't go without eating there!!

Honest confession from an ultra-con it made me raise my eyebrows also. I think he is yet traveling mostly teaching end-time stuff. I saw him about 4 years ago at a meeting. Enjoyed visiting with him.

Yes, that's them. We were all supposed to meet for lunch or dinner. But we couldn't get lunch together, so they met for dinner. But we had to go to Savannah for once a month corporate prayer and I couldn't miss it. The Millers are friends of our; have been for a long time. I love them dearly even though we don't see them real often! He is travelling full time now.
