i dont agree with the oneness view, i dont believe it to be the proper view of the Godhead, so the bible is left up for personal interpretation with asking for Gods enlightment.
so i can not share in your perspective, though i attend a oneness church, and i go to oneness functions and if persecuted i would be standing with them, That still doesnt mean i agree with their conclusion of the Godhead.
remember oneness is almost a 100 year old theology its still relatively new, even though there has been different versions in history

Re: Apostolic Theologians
Hi Ace,
Just curious on your take of John 17. My prof at seminary believes that most disagreements between oneness and others is semantic, and asked me how I interpreted John 17. What's your interpretation?

Re: Apostolic Theologians
ahh, David K. Bernard, author of "The Message of Romans."
I used to read a lot of theology books . . . right now though I feel like i just want to read the bible prayfully, seeing what God might speak to my heart, rather then seeing the bible through one particular viewpoint and possibly missing the bigger picture.

I read many books my first 4 years in the Lord. After a while it dawned on me what I was reading did not many times agree with what I read in scripture. In the last 30 years I doubt I have bought more than ten books.
Of course with the coming of the internet one can read short articles/studies by the hundreds for free.
