The author was stupid to even publish the book and sick for sure but when this freak is discovered for who he is in prison he will probably be killed.
And if not some skinhead will probably beat the crud out of him out on the street
And a lot of people view the ACLU in high favor but if they took this case it would probably change that

hmmm... Nine times out of ten they have been on the WRONG side of justice IMO.

This kind of logic is too sweeping, even though I am disgusted with the idea that there is a book being sold that talks about pedophilia.
As a free market lover, as one who wants to preserve certain freedoms that our Constitution guarantees, I guess I just have to leave more room to allow the good and the bad.

For the record, I am against the arrest of this man.
The topic of his book is completely disgusting, but the law Florida used to arrest him may not be a good fit for what he has been targetted for.
After all, he was targetted-- so were the accused witches of Salem. Some practiced witchcraft, many were just accused, but they all met the same fate.
Fact is, there are many books that depict all sorts of heinous crimes and acts. No one targets them in this manner.
It just so happens that Florida has some of the toughest laws in the country when it comes to victimizing children-- and rightfully so as SO MANY MORE children seem to be kidnapped and victimized here so much more often than any other state I have ever lived in.
Well, more make the papers here than any other state I have lived in.
Either way, this amounts to just a little less than a witch hunt for an American citizen who decided to write about something distasteful (putting it lightly.)
He was targetted simply because of something he wrote. I think that is a very dangerous thing to do for a government that prides itself on preserving freedom.
His civil rights have been violated.
The STATE of Florida is trampling all over this American's freedom.
It's only a matter of time before it is YOU that loses yours too.
