The 1st amendment separates church from state already, so there was no need for this measure. The fact that is specifically targets Islam makes it unconstitutional.
The problem with this argument is that the establishment clause in the 1st Ammendment is specifically targeted at the US Congress not state congresses. Secondy the Oklahoma law is not "...respecting an establishment of religion." It is denying the validity of specific religious and international laws in deciding domestic and criminal court cases in the state of Oklahoma. States are given jurisdiction to create such laws by the very same Constitution that limits the powers of the Federal Government.

Luckily it didn't take too long to get the process started:

So the state laws are no longer enforcible?
Only federal law?

Do you know why you make dishonest claims?

Some out of state Muslim lawyer already filed for an injunction. He doesn't have an Oklahoma bar permit, I suspect his standing will get his case tossed.

Having the case tossed will be by using Oklahoma law and not federal law.

In 2007, Duncan rejected a Quran as a gift from a council created by Gov. Brad Henry, explaining that "most Oklahomans do not endorse the idea of killing innocent women and children in the name of ideology."
This will make Islam look stupid again. Sharia is pressured form of religion used to apply rules. Awad who filed the case doesn't have standing in Oklahoma. He is not admitted to the bar. Of course the Musilims toss that out also and will say that Imamas will be able to practive law in Oklahoma even tho they are not lawyers.

The PC crowd gobbles up this Islam garbage.

Of course I don't see the states law schools requiring the study of arabic so the grads can study sharia.

Sabri Husibi is a former Muslim who recently spoke at a gathering for the Tulsa Atheists ... anything against Shariah has been recieving death threats. Under Sharia, they can' punish the people giving an infidel death threats.

Even Cat Stevens agreed that Rushdie should die for his heresey against Islam.
