Re: Do Fulfilled Eschatologists believe in hell?
I think Moon's view is in the minority. I am somewot familiar with two fulfilled eshatology proponents. Neither have expressed anything similar to wot Moon is implying.

Would an admin be so kind as to rename the thread as it is stated in post 70? Thank you.

What is your take on the following, as to exactly who it was that was tempting Jesus?
( I know, not a little red man w/ horns and forked tail- hehe)
Luke 4
1And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

James 1:13-14
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
KJV
What does the Bible say? Your tempted of another source, or your own lust? Is James 1:14 wrong? If he was tempted by another source than his own lust then this scripture is wrong. Man loves to have something else to blame his failures on. "The Devil made me do it", but where does the blame really belong?
Jesus was simply tempted of his own flesh, just like we are.

so who was Jesus tempted to worship? His flesh wanted to jump off a cliff? You imply alot of things by posting scripture without explaining what you really believe.

Could explain the devil part of Luke 4? Like the devil took him to a high mountain, etc..

Isa 44:6-8
6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
KJV
Who what else beside the flesh and God was there to worship? Isa 44:6-8 says that there is no other God. So what else is there? Even Satanism of today will tell you that Satanism is a worship of self, not another being.

If Jesus was like us and tempted as we are then the same hold true for Christ in these scriptures...
Gal 5:17
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
KJV
Either Christ faced the same battle that we do, or He still doesn't have a clue what we go through.
