This is true. Met a 23-year old lawyer from the UK two months ago, working as an intern for a non-profit in the states. Legally here, he is not a lawyer. He was forthright and let us know that though in the UK he can be called a lawyer, he is really not one yet -- at least according to US standards.

True. I am really not up to speed on how that works. See, I have already said too much. Thanks bro!

JN,
I can't help but think maybe some of this has happened for a purpose for you. Praying God's direction in your life.

You haven't really even said anything worthy of dispute here, let alone disparaging or otherwise harmful. You've been a gentleman and kept cool. Those of us "without a life" are the ones who have raised questions.

Just curious, JNA. Fairness is always appreciated.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification.

Re: AFF God has spoken
To our legal brothers: Is a public forum exempt from accusations of libel?
Or, because, this is not a blog by an individual owner, but rather a public forum, is all fair game?
And must the facts be false to be considered "libel" or is that not always the case?

There is not a simple all encompassing answer, as most true "legal" answers, it depends.
General rule, no public forum does not exempt per se.
At work, more later.
