I doubt if I will ever have to face the question of whether to espond to a Presidential invitation or not.

Well, Mother Teresa and Mother Pelosi are two distinct persons.

Re: With one wave of the popes hand.
Ever have one of those days when you feel really lucky; like, win the lottery, fit into your skinny jeans, kids don't act up.... kind of lucky??? Sigh. Me neither.

New Stamp - the second one!!!
USPS New 44-Cent Stamp Celebrates a Muslim holiday.
President Obama has directed the United States Postal Service to REMEMBER and HONOR the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a new commemorative 44-Cent First Class Holiday Postage Stamp.
REMEMBER to adamantly & vocally BOYCOTT this stamp, when you are purchasing your stamps at the post office.
All you have to say is "No thank you, I do not want that Muslim Stamp on my letters!"
To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.
REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of Pan Am Flight 103!
REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993!
REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon !
REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Military Barracks in Saudi Arabia !
REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa !
REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE!
REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on 9/11/2001 !
REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!
Pass this along to every Patriotic American that you know and get the word out!
Honor the United States of America !

I wonder if notofworks would have just stood by without protest if he had lived in Germany in the early 1940's. Would he have urged everybody to be pacifists and let Adolf Hitler take over the world? Did we thwart Gods will by defeating the Nazis?

Should I add "Nazi-sympathizer" to the list of descriptions you've thrown at me? I choose to respect our president and you stretch it into being a Nazi-sympathizer. You're unreal.

No. I am curious though how you would reconcile your pacifist stance and the events of WWII. Enlighten me as to what would have been the Christian living in Germany's proper course of action. Also the proper course of action for those who were targets of Nazi aggression.

I like the stamp that's available during the Christmas season that has the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus on it. I think that in the near future a stamp is going to be issued with William Seymour on it. I think that's neat. I read about that a few years ago but haven't seen it yet. He will be honored as an African American who greatly influenced religious thought in America. We are a very diverse group of people in this country. Why would Muslims not be recognized on our stamps? Actually, would it be right for Muslims to not be recognized by a stamp now and then?
