I don't know what ya'll are all worked up about with the Holy Ghost Hokey Pokey. It's not any different than the nonsense I saw at UPC camp meetings and general conferences for the first 20-something years of my life. Same song, second verse.
Seriously, what's the difference between this and the foolish antics Lee Stoneking, Anthony Mangun, and others use to get the crowd worked up.

I haven't seen anything like this in the UPC. Stoneking hasn't always preached a full message on the hair issue. I don't know what he's doing right now. And I don't think Anthony Mangun has done anything weird.

I'm talking about their endless attempts to get the crowd worked up and then pretend the "Holy Ghost was moving". Remarks such as "Nobody leave this building until you talk in tongues". You can find it on Youtube. It's the same thing with a different haircut.

You know what? I have never been in a service like that - "Nobody leave this building until you talk in tongues." Never in 30 years. I think some have had bad experiences and what to act like it happens in every church in all 50 states. It's just not true, TM.
I have been in services where the crowd was being manipulated. I was also aware that many around me knew it, cooperated just to get it over with, went home and lived for God knowing that some people are just stupid, but God is not.

He didn't say that they couldn't leave until they spoke in tongues. He just said make sure you speak in tongues. I think that at the end of this meeting he feels pumped to preach something like this. His faith is very high.
Nevertheless, when the camera scanned the audience, there were people who were not dancing and not speaking in tongues. Most people will listen and do what they feel is right for them.
It would not be my preference as I found, through experience, that if I pray, God will do the work without my manipulation.
However, he has more Bible for the dancing and speaking in tongues than someone telling you to do the Hokey Pokey. LOL!

Re: Holy Ghost Hokey Pokey
I didn't watch the whole Holy Ghost Hokey Pokey vide. It's just too long. I did watch the Louisiana Camp Meeting video with A.M. Now, somebody explain the difference between those 2 videos. Aren't they both choreographed?

You can't be serious. Wait, you are serious. My goodness. Do you need this transcribed for you? Here it is:
"Before you leave, make sure you talked in tongues
Turn to somebody and say, "when's the last time you talked in tongues?"
In the name of Jesus, let everything in this house talk in tongues RIGHT NOW.
Now here's what we're gonna do on our way home tonight. Everything in this house is gonna dance before the Lord. Now if you haven't danced, you just gonna learn TO dance. You say it's not my personality. MAKE it your personality.
Those are manipulative, direct orders. Please don't say he didn't say what he said. It's for the express purpose of getting crowd worked up, just like the charismatic hokey-pokey. Sorry, but if you're going to bash the charismatic weirdos, you must do the same to good ole' Anthony, or you have no credibility.

I guess I just never take any of that as serious. It's just a speaker full of passion and fired up excitement. You know he's not going to hog tie you and make you do it. LOL!
Most of the time when we hear someone say something like this, we are responding if we feel it and listening if we don't. I doubt anyone in the building thinks they have to dance and speak in tongues. Well, I know they don't, because when you see the camera scanning the audience they aren't all cooperating because they know they don't have to. I know I don't have to if I'm there.
Anyway, he isn't working up the crowd. He actually is feeling what he is saying. I know that much about him. He's not a liar.
