My shockamoo-ing is usually done in my kitchen with my 6-year-old daughter when a lively song comes on the radio.
We'll grab hands and shockamoo all around the room.

It is a march tempo if it is Tejano ( Mexican - boom-che) or Merengue (Dominican - che- BOOM)
But if it is salsa (Puerto Rican, Cuban) it is traditionally 4/4 time signature and at times 6/8.
But you gotta have the flavuh to play some good salsa.

Someday, thousands of years from now, archeologists will stumble upon this site. They will devote lifetimes deciphering the strange colloquialisms they uncover.

Let this be a point of reference for them - - go read the Lexicon thread to help dechipher some of the unknown words!
