By the end of Obama's first term at the latest he says.
Understanding him for what he is, Obama is actually dragging his feet on taxes. He want to get re elected and load them up at that time. If he loads them up now, he is in a corner and can't get re elected.
Obama already said Docs make too much. He wants the IRS in the doctors clinics and teach them how to cut costs and services.
Coadie the IRS doesn't do that. LOL Yes, any President knows he has to play it safe in the first term, be they Democrat or Republican. That's called "politics".
But non-immediacy is a HUGE problem. I cannot afford to buy health insurance right now.
SOMETHING needs to be done about our health care system. I'm not sure what I think the best plan is.
I completely understand. I grew up in a home where my dad was self employed and couldn't afford health insurance. We were fortunate and never had any hospital stays and he always paid out of pocket for doctors visits and dental work.
Of course with medical costs like they are now, that would be impossible.
The immediacy thing is why I think we should give people a grace period to get covered and give them a tax credit for insuring themselves if they weren't insured to help offset the initial costs.

They are partisians. By the way, when I supported Congressional Information Systems you'd be amazed at the outright lies Hannity and Limbaugh told. For example, there was a bill for war funding that the Democrats didn't support. These false profit$ of talk radio claimed that Democrats were against funding the troops. If you read what happened on the flood you'd know that the Democrats voted against it because of the pork attached to it, they pleaded that the Republicans have some decency and pass a war funding bill without all their pork projects attached. Again, lies and misinformation.
Name the bill. Fact check time.
I realize your friends recently supported a war funding bill because it had the pedophile protection act attached. S 1390
Nothing goes down in price when the government is involved. Plus you will pay for more with less coverage. How is that better?
Hmmmm.... do you pay a government subsidized sewage company to collect and treat your sewage or do you have to process your waste alone on the private market? Which do you think would be more expensive?
Trash collection in Miamisburg is a good example. It was managed by the city government and handed over to the private industry. With increased private market rates the people are paying far more because they are not under contract via the city. Estimations show that they are paying three times what they'd pay in local taxes for the same system if subsidized by the local government.
Tort reform. In my office building early 80's we had an attorney that had 3 judgements in the 5-15 million dollar range. Then with malpractice awards going up, one of the firms larger class action suits was over 20 million. Now we see annual insurance premioums are 100,000 dollars for a doc and some Ob/Gyns totally stop doing deliveries because they can hit 180,000 thousand. The Dem Lawyers in congress hate tort reform. John Edwards made a couple hundred million on medical malpractice.
Amen. Tort reform is a different subject but desperately needed. They are looking at how France works in regards to regional health care boards that decide cases and seeing what might be legal and valuable for the American public.
We keep posting again and agian. It is not about the videos. It is a mental block. I posted one several times.
Coadie, I'm looking at my health insurance card right now. It's a government plan through UHC much like what they are talking about. Get a grip on reality son.
Like Coadie said he has already provide it for you, you don't seem to watch or understand, not sure which.
Please note, proof isn't a statement made outside of context. In addition, a statement voicing that some Democrats want to do away with private insurance is like a Christmas list. The reality is they are going to have to work with insurance companies like local governments do right now.
Coadie the IRS doesn't do that. LOL Yes, any President knows he has to play it safe in the first term, be they Democrat or Republican. That's called "politics".
You are wrong again. You have misrepresented the bills statements regarding the IRS in healthcare activity.
"The IRS doesn't do that" is a diversion.
Actually the IRS is the bottom of the accounting grads. The ones industry and private corporations don't want. Lower grades and lower image. They almost never win in tax apppeals because they are up against the A students and they were the ones that couldn't get interviews.
Accountants leaving school to work for the government can't be CPA's. Most can't pass the test.
BTW...do you have proof that any of what we are showing is not true?
I'm looking at my UHC health insurance card right now. It's through a private insurer and is government subsidized which is what they are talking about. Everytime I go to the doctor I'm experiencing the reality of what they are wanting to extend to you.
I'm not saying they're the same, I'm saying that if they are going to mandate health care coverage, something will have to be done to lower the premiums immediately. Otherwise, people will not be able to afford it.
(I'm not even arguing about Obama's plan, I don't have an opinion on it yet)
Ester, you will not be forced to buy on the private market. You can choose the government plan with a prenegotiated premium. C'mon girl... it's not rocket science. LOL
