There are times, in private prayer, I will sing a song in tongues and then interpret in my own language. It's God conveying a powerful thought to strengthen my faith in who He is and what He is doing in my life.

I understand the connection with the American Indians. I feel the same way about Africa. I read everything I can get my hands on about African culture, and I am studying Swahili. I love the people, the language, the food, everything. Way back when I was a teenager, my friend and I used to joke about going to Africa as missionaries. Then, lo and behold, I married a guy who was born and raised there. It took 27 years of marriage before he took me there for the first time, but when I set foot there, I fell in love with the continent.
