My heart was broken when I heard Debbie Velie (of New Beginnings in Tupelo, MS) say that when counseling a young pastor's daughter who had considered an abortion - but choose life and adoption instead - state that she could name at least 10 friends - all minister's daughters - who had had abortions. When Debbie asked her "why?" The response was.... "It seems easier to get forgiveness from God than love, compassion and forgiveness from the church".

God help us to teach our children and young people about right relationship with the Saviour - so that they will maintain right relationships with each other.... but if they fall - they feel the love of God from us - and can be restored. Yes, there are consequences to be paid, but we must love them!
