I'm trying to hold out - - it's 68 in here right now.

I love to sleep when it's cold, but just sitting around it's a bit nippy on my nose.
We keep our thermostat set at 68 during the colder months and 70 during the summer. Our heat has not kicked on much at all yet, although we do turn on the gas fireplace from time to time.

Re: How Low Do You Go........

Might have to kick on the heat tonight - it's 66 in my place now and it's going to hit 30 degrees outside tonight!

My nose is cold!

Re: How Low Do You Go........

I closed my patio door early tonight. lol It's 49 outside right now. Low of 33 predicted. That might be a mighty invigorating walk to work at 5:30 tomorrow morning!

Also, the smell of the paper in school - it was memographed - not copied. Of course, you young thangs won't have a clue. I remember doing the church bulletin on one of those things!

Our heat has been on for a while now. But I keep it very low - usually 64 or lower, unless the wind is blowing really hard and chilling things off alot!

Today it snowed here. YUCK!!! Started out as rain and then I looked out and lo and behold, the rain had turned to big snow flakes. Rats. I had already planned to take Keith shopping. He left his winter coat (which was getting too small anyway) at Logan's house (the friend's house he was spending the night at when he got in trouble). I decided they can just keep it. I'm not going over for it. So I took Keith to TJMax today and got him a new coat while we were out.

It was around 80 here today and almost 100 in Los Angeles.
Very nice and sunny but It's too dry...we need more rain - had a little last weekend but it will take a whole season of soaking rain to stop all these fires
