How can Holy Ghost filled people think this is okay in God's eyes?
Have you heard of this happening elsewhere are do you think this is an isolated event?
Do you think I am just too old fashion?

I would be surprised if there is any part of the Holy Ghost left there.

I wonder if they were of a somewhat "liberal" district??

I sincerely hope that these statements are NOT true. You said you "know" in the first one. However, I will say that NOTHING would surprise me about something like this happening.

I believe I may just have to develop a snopes-like website for the Apostolic community.

Amen, and exactly!
Over the years I have heard MANY stories about what people know about my family and very rarely is there anything but a sliver (if that) of truth in what they KNOW!

I can't say that I am all that surprised tho...there are things taking place in churches these days that I never thought I'd see...and I'm only in my early 30's. It is no wonder my parents are having a hard time coming to grips with it all...

My only thought is that a lot of things that I do hear coming out about situations in particular churches, is that a lot of it has been going on a long time, it is just that it is coming out now.
Oh, and no need to flaunt the fact that you are in your early thirties sister, that is just hitting below the belt!!!

Yes I know it to be true. The young man confessed it to my pastor. The Bishop had been with him and is wife on seperate occasions.
The nude church was a news story. They filmed with legs crossed, pastor standing behind the pulpit, ect.
Sometimes I think we have a disconnect---a very good thing---with what happens with worldly living people. We live holy and are shocked at what is accepted by "church" people when they live by worldly standards.

Plus when you take into account they were all NUDE...............

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"
