well, they are really not worn that much anymore.... this is the day of no hose...plenty of tanned legs, or sprayed on hose for that tanned leg look...

I have three teen girls, and there isn't a pair of hose in sight... I'm kinda glad, what an expense that would be. whew.

when a woman didn't have hose on they use to call it "going bare legged" lol! most of our churches required ALL the women to wear them when they stepped out of the house. I have not heard that preached in years but many do still require it just on the platform probably because the dresses are not as long as they use to be???
