My sisters and I were singing to my dad "In The Presence of Jahovah" when he passed on. Just the three of us and dad... the witness of the Spirit was so strong.... no doubt whose presence he is now in..

I love that one too, Phil.
I also love "I Want to Hear You Welcome Me" from that old book.
A shouting song that my wife and I sing that always moves me, as well as our church, is "Goodbye, Hallelujah I Am Gone."

Wow.....so many memories on this thread! I still love the old hymn "I Am Thine O Lord, I have heard Thy voice....."
And "On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand...."
And I do love "It is well with my soul."

This is also one of my all time favorites, I've always said I want this song at my funeral (yes, morbid).

Many times alone in prayer, I have finished my prayer time with "I Love Him Too Much to Fail Him Now," sung in the first person.
I love the second verse...
"I told Him, that I loved Him
It was easy to say
But harder to prove it, when temptation came my way
What good are broken promises, I counted them but loss
When I got a glimpse of true love,
Hanging on a rugged cross"
