I am slow as I am just reading this thread but yes!!!!!!!!!!! I loved that song... I played that part in the play and sang that song!!!!!!!!
Every once in a while I still walk around the house singing it...
And another one they had me sing was I am adopted. I guess because I was adopted but not the meaning of the song i know

I tried to listen to it, but only could take about 49 seconds of it.

I saw Kansas in 1983 at the Norfolk Scope in Virginia.
They played "Way ward son" and they blew me away!
They played "Way ward son", just like the album.
I just could not believe what I was hearing, very good band to listen to live.
