Must be. Epley said it so it must be true.

We cannot question him.

This is disconcerting ... I've just found out I'm not an Alicea.

The adoption of sonship provides the name, according to the custom of Bible times, just as legally as does a bloodline.

Hope there are no wounds being opened by this discussion, Bro. Alicea.

The only thing Jesus told Nicodemus in answer to his question as to how someone can be born again is that whosoever believed on Him would have eternal life.

Accepting this truth that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus does not take anything away from the need to repent and be baptized or diminish the need for one to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

You have to deny the work of the Holy Ghost and attribute the transformation that takes place in the lives of millions of people who hear the gospel and place their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation to the devil, which is blasphemous as far as I am concerned.

If the PAJC position on salvation made sense it would be easier to accept, but unfortunately it makes no sense at all because it doesn't reflect what actually happens in the lives of most believers.

But it does reflect what happened when someone was born again in the Word of God. That is what counts.
